Possible copyvio (and POV at that)[edit]

Most of this content is a duplicate of both http://www.maarifastreet.com/biography.html and http://www.jonhassell.abelgratis.co.uk/HTML/bio.html (one seems to be a copy of the other and I'm not sure which is original). There is nothing on either website concerning copyright, terms of use, etc. Therefore I am reverting to 212.219.18.20's next-to-last edit (the last one being the addition of the content in question). Unless someone can show that s/he has permission to put this on Wikipedia (or is the original author of this content), I am assuming this violates someone's copyright. In any case the content is highly POV and would need to be rewritten. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 04:44, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I am editing this entry at the moment, the material stated here will be incorporated into the new version, so I hope the copyright problem goes away. I'm not the person who put this in here originally, by the way. -- Risher 07:02, 13 Aug. 2007
Ok, I edited the page, I just got a nice basic form which can be filled out with, for example, Hassell's jazz influence (especially Miles Davis), more information after Vernal Equinox (I skimped on it, as I don't really a lot about him after around 1989, except for a few random things I dug up). -- Risher 08:38, 13 Aug. 2007

I think I had removed the copyright infringement at an earlier point, but I must have forgotten to leave a note, sorry about that. Thanks for your efforts. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 13:33, 13 August 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

FYI: Terry Riley first recorded In C in 1964, not 1968. This will require rewriting that section, but uncertain as to how to proceed as I do not know the facts of his relationship with Riley. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.70.108.31 (talk) 23:53, 24 October 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
